In light of recent events, we would like to begin a conversation about racial injustice and discuss how all women can join together to support men and women of color. We recognize that these issues cannot be resolved in a single meeting, yet we feel a responsibility to begin. This is our beginning, and we hope that you will join us.
We are committed to listening, to showing up and being present for our sisters in Christ, and doing so with full knowledge that we are deeply loved and deemed worthy as women created in the image of God.
Our hearts are tuned into the words of 1 Corinthians 12:12-26, reminding us that we are many parts of one body of Christ. We hope that you will join us in reading and praying over this scripture before meeting together on July 13th.
Due to COVID-19, we are implementing the following precautions to ensure your health:
-The health and safety guidelines are ever-changing in Nashville, so please stay in touch via our 4word Nashville Facebook page for updates on this event. As the date draws near, we may need to postpone the event if the current restrictions for gathering together are enhanced as a result of rising COVID-19 cases.
-We will not be serving dinner at this event, but please feel free to bring your own dinner or snack if desired.
-In response to the recent order of the Metro Department of Health, masks are required at this event.
-If you have any symptoms we respectfully ask that you do not attend this event in person.
