The Unburdened Leader: Creating Calm, Clarity, and Capacity in Every Sphere
February 27 – March 1, 2026
Hotel Del Coronado | San Diego, CA
Your leadership is costing you more than it should.
You carry the weight of your team, your family, and your responsibilities—grateful for the life you’ve built, yet quietly running on empty.
You’re not alone.
Often, the more capable we are and the more called we feel, the harder it is to admit how much we’re struggling. We keep pushing, holding it all together. But what if there’s a better way?
“For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” – Matthew 11:30

A Sacred Space to Reset
At 4word, we help women lead with purpose—without losing themselves in the process.
The Executive Women 4Christ Forum is a weekend retreat designed for high-capacity Christian women to step away from the pressure and into peace. It’s a space to realign with God, reconnect with yourself, and return to leadership renewed.
High-Level Schedule:
- Thursday: Pre-Event Activities and Dinner
- Friday: Registration, Welcome Reception, Dinner and Opening Session
- Saturday: Sessions with Keynotes, Mastermind, Activities, and Dinner
- Sunday: Closing Sessions

2026 Theme: The Unburdened Leader
Reclaiming Rhythm, Release, and Renewal
Leadership will always ask something of us—but it should never cost us our peace, presence, or identity.
This year’s theme invites us to reimagine responsibility not as something we must tightly grip, but as something we steward with open hands and a surrendered heart.
Together, we’ll:
- Release what you were never meant to carry
- Realign with what matters most
- Rediscover the strength that comes from leading with soul and Sabbath
What You’ll Experience
✔️ Grounded teaching on leadership, identity, and rest
✔️ Honest connection with women who truly understand your world
✔️ Time for prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal
✔️ A stunning, soul-refreshing setting at the Hotel Del Coronado
✔️ A holistic reset that equips you for what’s next—in life, work, and faith
“Every year, God gives me something unexpected—personally and professionally. I hear more clearly in the presence of these women.”
– 2025 Attendee

What Past Participants are saying:
“This (Forum) group of women is unlike anything else in the business world, the church world, or the women world. It is a refreshing reconciliation in Christ Jesus of all things we face as women in executive levels of business leadership. It is lovely, powerful and energizing!”
“There is truly something special about being in a room of Christian women leaders with the same experiences of navigating professional and personal lives as we lean into our faith to build Gods kingdom!”
“You cannot find a group of women like this anywhere. This is truly your community if you are a Christian executive woman.”
The world needs women leaders.
As a leader in your field or industry, you know the impact of outstanding female leadership. You also know that women leaders are often in short supply. This can leave a leader like you feeling alone and unsupported.
We believe you shouldn’t have to navigate work, life, and faith on your own because God designed you for community. You are worthy of being surrounded by loving and supportive women who understand the unique challenges you face as a woman at the highest levels of leadership.
4word’s EW4C is a community of influential Christian women leaders who elevate each other spiritually, relationally, and professionally to make a bold difference in the world.
Once you’ve received an invitation to the EW4C community, you can find your tribe in two ways:
Connect with an EW4C Community Group. These groups of 6-10 influential leaders meet either every-other-month or once a quarter to share challenges, pray and grow together.
Attend the life changing EW4C Forum. The forum is an opportunity to hear from and interact with world-class speakers who address the spiritual, relational and professional challenges unique to influential women leaders. It’s also a time to be refreshed and reenergized through Master Mind sessions and quality R&R. Registration is limited to 55 executive women.
