Welcome back, ladies. This week on the blog, we’ve been talking about love and marriage. They go together like a horse and ca-… okay, we won’t sing the whole song to you. But, on that subject, here are some of our favorite, related posts from this week.
Around the Blogosphere
- “Is There One Jack for Every Jill?” – This is the first of two videos that Joy Eggerichs did on the age-old subject of “the one.” As always, it’s both hilarious and insightful.
- “The Thing I Hate Most in Marriage” – Joy frequently talks about her parents’ book, Love and Respect, and this week, The Modern Reject also blogged about the issue of wives respecting their husbands.
- “But He or She Isn’t a Virgin” – It isn’t a topic we like to think about, but RELEVANT Magazine had some good thoughts on how to pursue sexual purity as a couple when one or both partners has a sexual history.
- Boundless.org had a pair of great posts about the question of “is it friendship or something more.” The first, “Failing Chemistry,” discusses chemistry between a guy and girl who are “just friends.” The second, “Your Friendgirl Deserves Better,” admonishes men and women about the dangers of being “just friends” but acting like something more.
